01 Story

A calling became a community.

Renewal Life Space is the next chapter of a mission shaped through people, place, and practice.

The Call

Pastor Boyan Levterov and his family came to Maryland to help build a network of missional faith communities. In Rockville and Gaithersburg, a core team listened, dreamed, and named the new project Renewal Church, united by a hope for renewal in life, relationships, and faith.

At Greencourt Innovation Center, the team put the idea to work. Worship, open conversation, coaching, community events, and practical support showed that faith could meet people throughout the week, not only during a service.

The Permanent Home Base

The model worked and pointed toward a more permanent place to grow. Renewal Church is becoming Renewal Life Space, a name for the full vision: café hospitality, coworking, technology, coaching, worship, and service carrying renewal into daily life.

02 Leadership

Dr. Boyan Levterov, lead pastor of Renewal Church

Meet Pastor Boyan

For Dr. Boyan Levterov, Renewal Church is the next chapter in a life spent turning mission into community. His conviction is simple: healthy churches multiply when everyday people are equipped to lead.

That conviction took shape in Texas. In 2007, Boyan and his wife launched Crosswalk Fellowship in The Colony. The congregation grew into a thriving community and became a foundation for his wider work coaching teams, developing lay leaders, and supporting new faith communities.

In 2019, the Potomac Conference invited him east to launch new faith communities along Maryland’s I-270 corridor. Today he guides Renewal around authentic worship, community life, and practical spaces for the next generation. His background in ministry, business, theology, and strategic leadership helps turn that vision into a sustainable mission.
